Thinking of putting 2 15's in the trunk, just want to see some setup you guys have. Also do you have them shooting up or to the rear of the trunk?

i wouldnt put 15's in it. i have 2 12's and my car is rattling like crazy. But if you do fire them to the rear for the most output and fire them to the front for less rattle.

Thanks a lot mb1 Right now I have 3 10's in the trunk and I'm just looking for something different. I'm thinking 15's, because not many people have 15's. I've had 1 15 and 2 12's before my current setup.

Hey MB1, hows the sound with those 2 15's in the trunk?

I'm seriously considering getting 2 Kicker 15's L7 to put in the trunk of my 2002 Max. Is there a ton of rattling, and if so would there be any way to dynamat the rattling away or something?

The sound is great. I recently sounddeadened the whole trunk and removed all the loose objects. I also took out the plastic cover on the back of the trunk and the trunk lid. I still have a few rattles to take care of, but otherwise it's great.

The best thing to do, is go to an open place, turn your system up, and locate all the rattles. Any loose plastic parts will rattle, like all the clips, and trunk pannels. After you identify them, either remove them, or figure out how to silence them.

I speak highly of my 15's. People were talking about me when I got them. Giving reasons like rattle and they take up to much space. The dynamat has taken care of that horrible rattle and I still have room 2 sets of golf bags. If ya want that bass that feels and sounds good roll with them. Make sure you get an EQ on the them, because they can get real loose. I have the Alpine ERE-G180, works like a charm. I have been kicking around the 13w7, and that 1000 watt amp. But since i just got an engagement ring, that was put on hold.

Roll with the 15's.
