help on buying and installing remote starter?

Has anyone installed a remote starter before? Who can give me some tips on buying and installing?

if you have 5sp, i would go with Aladdin 2000. It's the only one I know with a built in safety meant especially for 5sp.

compustar if the first to have that feature

good alarm and remote start .... the aladdin is the same as the firstech remote start... except the alddin if i remeber there remotes r silver... there both good.... but firstech has upgraded there stuff to a 1.5 mile range remote.... but it sur is ugly...if ur in dirty jersey i can help u in installing ur remote starter and even get u one

edit: just found out...the firstech/compustar is $100 more than the aladdin. You might wanna look at the Marksman M10...just $30 more than an aladdin and very popular (which makes me wanna stay away from it)
