If I replaced my factory Bose HU with an aftermarket one and used an adapter to allow me to still use the Bose amps and speakers, can I now change the speakers and keep the Bose amps?
If it is NOT what you are asking, please try to rephrase your question so that we can try to help you.
If this is what you are asking, NO. The factory Bose speakers are 1 ohm, not 4 (standard for car audio) or 8 (standard for home audio).
What you CAN do is run a new set of speaker wires directly from the new Head unit to the new speakers and bypass the Bose amp altogether. I know that that sounds wasteful, but thank Nissan and Bose for making the audio in the Maxima harder to work with than it had to be.
