I searched the archives without finding much on cell phone installations. Almost no chatter at all.

Just wondering if anyone has done a "professional" installation for their mobile phone: hard-wired power, dash-mount brackets, speaker phone through car audio system, automatic music mute when phone rings, high-gain antenna, etc.

Don't have a clue where to start on such an endeavor...not even a good place to buy the required accessories. Just wanted to get some advice. Is it worth it? Will I need a new head unit? Are some phones better (easier) than others to install? Is there an online forum for phone installers like there are so many for car stereos?

For what it's worth, I'm trying to install a Motorola T720 in my 2K Maxima and am thinking about doing the same for my wife's Motorola Startac 7868 in a 2K3 Jetta.
