Best place to mount?

I just bought a cd changer and want to know the best place to put it
i always used to think that in the trunk mounted to the the bottom of the board where the speakers are but won't the bass from the speakers cause it to jump?
and i thought of just mounting it to the floor of my trunk but will bumps n stuff cause it to jump as well?
thanks for anyhelp that anyone can provide.

Well, I have a 6 disc minidisc changer mounted in my truck and it seems to be fine. I've had it for about 5 months now and it hasn't skipped once. Other spots could be below the glovebox, passenger side, to the very bottom left. I was going to put mine there, but I decided not to. Hope that helps.

my friend has an accord...in the back seat ski hole he has a board setup so that it was mounted right there facing in the car. so when you but the ski whole down...there is a board covering the ski hole but the changer is built into the board-so u can change ur cds from in the car!
