I am planning on keeping the bose head unit and the mids and highs. I might change them out in the future but for now this will be my ony upgrades. I am looking into the following affordable solution:

JBL BP300.1 Amp


A JL 12w3 D4


I am not sure it I will just do a prefab box or have one made. What are the opinions on this setup? Will that JBL BP300.1 Power that sub enough? I am not looking for a temple of boom, but I do love bass and want it to hit pretty hard.

looks like a great starter setup to me..

*or, you could get the BP 180.2 and the SVC 4 ohm version of the sub.. That would leave you with a great amp for the fronts when you upgrade in the future..
