New system installed, DA and PPI
Yesterday I finished installed the vast majority of my new system. Diamond audio M361 components in the front and coax's in the rear, connected to a PPI 5800 5 channel amp, and all controlled by an Alpine HU. I have the back half of a false floor done, though there is still a lot of work to do with that, and I am planning on adding a sub once I get some more $$$. So far I think it sounds great, really clean and tight. I like the -2db adjustment for the tweeters, makes them sound a little less harsh. I also did some dynamat to the doors and around the rear speakers. I'll post pics once I get the trunk finished.

How did you run the rears? Off of the amp or from the RAF on the crossovers? If from the amp, try the RAF it does wonders for making rear fill sound accurate.

Thanks Don, I'll try that. Right now I'm just running everything off the amp, with the Fader set more forward on my HU. The amp is a 50x4 + 200x1, so maybe I'll bridge the amp to 100X2 for the front with the rear RAF, and use the 200x1 for a sub when I get one...

Which Alpine HU are you using?
