viper alarm pager..

hey all, i posted this in the 5th gen forum also ("HID theft thwarted").. anyhow to make this short. i have the "BASE" VIPER alarm on my 2K2 (don't recall the model #), same installer says he can hook me up with a pager for $175. for this price is it better to get a battery back up for this alarm? other options would be appreciated.--if this pager/alarm goes off at work, i can't just drop everything and run to the parking lot. it'll proly be too late by the time i get there. thx.

if the pager is the 795W then its a fair price. The battery backup should only run you an extra $45, at least that what I install them for.
