Good Non-powered Subwoofers

Hey all,
I'm looking for a good non-powered subwoofer box, preferrably with 2 "12's. I've considered boxes from Tweeter with 2 "12 Alpine Type-R's, JL Audio, but can anyone reccomend a good system that will pound and doesnt cost much over $500? I considered 1 "10 W7 from Tweeter in the special Powerwedge red and black box, but for about $700, I figured I could something better.
Thanks,
MassMax
