Would a speaker upgrade really sound that much better than Bose?

Right now I have the Bose system running on a Pioneer Premier DEH-P840MP MOSFET50 (50W x 4 Channel High Power).

I want more crisp sound for now (I'll add bass later); but I was wondering if getting Infinity Kappa components up front and Kappa 2-ways in the rear powered off the head unit would give me a definate improvement over the Bose...

How much better generally do nice components and 2-ways (w/o amp) sound over the stock Bose setup?
