My bose system has been messing up for over a year now, and I am just now going to try to fix it. When I turn the radio on, 2 of the 4 speakers work, and after a while one of them srarts squeaking and scratching. The other 2 that never work will also start squeaking and scratching. The guy at best buy said that I cannot put non-bose speakers in a car with a bose system because the ohms are different. Its that true or a bunch of BS? Also, does that sound like a problem with the speakers or the radio itself? I dont want to get home from best buy and put in some new sony Xplodes and have them not work.

change out the whole thing...it's worth it

I am gonna try just put a new head deck for now, I am goin to bypass the amps on the speakers.

I replaced the whole thing with a sony xplod head deck and infinity speakers....man it sounds great
