Eclipse Amp

OK guys, getting close to putting together my audio system for my Max. But first I need to ask a few questions. I can get a Eclipse 34230 amp for about $340. Is this a good quality amp? Will this amp work well with either a Eclipse Aluminum 12" or Diamond M6 12"? Will it hve too much power? Thanks guys!!!

i asked don(pearl96max) about eclipse amps and he said they were of high quality. you can pm him and ask him about the price, he is an eclipse dealer himself. he also deals DA so he can probably answer your sub questions also.

It is a good quality amp, but at that price I am guessing it is an online store? Not a good idea to purchase from, as it will result in zero warranty.

If you're going to go with Eclipse -- go with the digital amps. The 1000W model overpowers and sounds better than every other amp that I've heard at the shops (last time I matched it up with a 1800W Kenwood and the Eclipse OWNED IT)

Check out their titanium subs too, I just got aluminium and it's insane.

I wound up going with an Alpine MRD-M500 pushing an Aluminum 12, and you are right, it is insanity. I haven't even been able to bring myself to turn the bass all the way up! That thing is mind-blowing!

I recently ordered the Eclipse DA7232 and 9122 subs, now everyone was trying to push we towards the JL, but I have no idea why I chose the DA7232. I know that eclipse has a very good rep and hopefully they don't let me down with this amp. SOON TO BE INSTALLED!!

Sorry to hear you got rid of them. What amp did you have pushing them? Did you ever get an SPL reading?
