whats up guys i was wonder if anyone had instructions for the best way to run the power wire from the battery to an amp. would it be through the firewall or somewhere else? the more help the better cause i don't really want to have to pay for it to be installed thanks in advance, joe

 

You can search (use my name, select audio forum, search for power wire) for this answer as well, but anyways...

Park the car and turn the wheels facing left. Remove the fenderwell covering surrounding the driver's front tire (it's about 6-9 clips and 2-3 screws). Once it's removed, look toward the rear of the car and you'll see a rubber grommet with wires running into it. Locate the other side of the grommet inside the cabin (use a coathanger or screwdriver to help (but be careful)). Run your power wire into the cabin through there. If running 4 guage, use a drill and a small bit to make a hole in the grommet. Make sure the hole is at least 1/8" smaller than the wire, so it fits "more than snugly". Then just run the wire down the driver's side of the car to the rear. Remove the rear seat (2 tabs toward the front of the car). You'll see a black bracket. In the trunk, remove the carpet as well as the driver's side trim. You'll see a black bracket. It's the same as the one at the rear seat. Run your wire there. Reinstall all removed parts and hook up the system.

Yes. But you may have a hard time running 0 guage down the side while keeping it under the trim. I'd try for trim fitment before you make the hole in the factory's rubber grommet (firewall).
