the display on the radio does not light( or sometimes it does) however the CD and the radio play just fine( have not checked cassette)-- can this be repaired or should I start looking to replace the system?

thanks,

Fletch

it could be a looser wire, but its up to you on how u want to have it checked if u have head unit experience maybe u want to pull the head unit and check the wires in the back, obviously the light wire would be internal and it would be more difficult to check, maybe if u come across a good used one u should think about investing in that
