amp and sub combo, need help !!

amp and sub combo, need help !!

im getting the pionneer amp rated at
Continuous Power (RMS) 14.4V: 150Wx2 (4 ohm), 200Wx2 (2 ohm), 400Wx1 (4 ohm)
Max Power (14.4V): 300Wx2 (4 ohm), 800Wx1 (4 ohm)

my ? is should i get the 2ohm or 4ohm sub to get the most power out of the amp (i will bridge it) btw its 1 10inch dvc alpine type r 300watts rms 600max sub

If you're only hooking up one sub, go for the 4ohm. Your amp is rated 400x1 at 4 ohms, connecting it to a 2 ohm speaker it put too much of a load on the amp. If you're getting two, then I'd say 2ohm. You're amp has a rating for 2ohms , but only in the 2 channel mode.
