I finished installing my real system.

Please let me know what you think. Sign the guestbook and vote on cardomain.com as well. THanks in advance.

The current system is:
JBL BP 300.1 Amp
Kicker CVR 12D4
4 Guage amp kit.

I am very happy with it. Installing it all myself was very rewarding and tiring.

So does no responses mean that you guys don't like it? I was just trying to get a little encouragement for my hard work. I feel no love.

In one word, AWESOME. I admit that the base can over power the Bose. When I am listening to it low, I throw the Bass settine to -4. When I want to Jam, I put the setting at 0.

Next thing is something to try to stop all the rattles.

Looks good man, congrats on the false floor! Feels good to do it yourself, doesn't it?

It feels great! No way I would have tried it myself without this place. Studman's diagrams and recommendation of the AOEM-NIS2 kit and just everyones advice mad it easy.

Nice install. I feally want to do something in the future like that. I do think that I want to do a ported box in the future. Right now I am pretty satisfied.

Hey it looks nice. I was wondering did you put sound dampening on the bottom of the MDF wood (not the box) that you cut the same shape as your rug? Also did you secure the MDF wood surface (not the box) to the car with something or is it just sitting on top of the sound dampening material? If so wahat did you you use?

Looks nice. That sub is a 4 ohm DVC right? And did you have any intructions for installing the amp? If so where did you find them?

I have no sound deadening yet. I am going to have to do it though. The rattles are killing me. I bought the amp new so it came with instructions. It is actually pretty easy. The only thing you use is power, ground, remote, rca and positive/negative speakers. The MDF is just laying in there. It doesn't move at all. The way the trunk sits kinda forces it in that position. I think I might go cheap and use peel and seal from Lowes. If not I will use RAAMMAT.

Yes the sub is the 4ohm one to give the amp a 2ohm mono load. The JBL is stable at 1 ohm so if I add another sub, it will work as well.
I think I will just stay at 1 sub and go to a bigger ported box.
