Amp Feels Under Powered.
I just purchased a Pyramid PB781X 1000W 2 Channel MOSFET amp. I know the brand isnt "top-of-the-line" but for $80 it was a good deal. My problem is that I went from a 400W to this 1000W and it doesnt seem to be pushing that much harder. Im wondering if it the guage of my wires or something.
I have 2 12" Kenwood Tornados in a Bandpass box. Any Ideas?

Not only is that amp not top of the line, but its just about the worse quality amp you could eevr purcahse, and the best way to wastw 80$. The reason is because car audio is not cheap. You can't spend 80$ and think your gonna get anything even remotely close to 1000 watts RMS. Why do you think a JL 500.1 watt amp costs 550$ retail? Because it performs as advertised and delivers extremely good power and quality. I bet that amp you boguht is more like 100 watts rms in reality. All those bum *** no name companys that you find on ebay false advertise, because theres really nobody thats gonna stop them from saying the product they are selling is actually what they say it is. At least if your gonna be a cheap ***, and don't mind listening to crappy quality sound, go buy some low end amp from best buy or circuit city. ( i.e. kenwood or somthing similar)

it's not the seller...the seller is just advertising wat the manufacture printed...so if anything...it's the manufacturer...
