I finally finished hooking up my stereo and when i go to hook up the power wrire to the battery, it sparks upon contact and the fuse in my amp blows! any ideas on how i could fix this tommorow?
oh yea, if i have a 60 w fuse on the power line and the amp has a 40 w is that a problem?
the amp is a hifonics zeus 200 x 2 amp, please help

ya...... leave the fuses out.....
connect the power..Buy new fuses and put them in. voila.
Now, why was it sparking?
Are your connections correct?
DId you double check?
