Hifonics experience?

I'm thinking of purchasing a hifonics amp(z4000) and their 12" Zeus woofer and was wondering if anyone could attest to their products being good or bad?

The amps are pretty good. There are much better subs for the money in my opinion.

I would personaly rather have a Elemental Designs 12K
Kicker Comp VR 12
Kicker L512

Subs are all personal preference. If you have heard one and like it then go with what makes you happy.

In a heartbeat. I was on a budget so I went with the CompVR. When I upgrade, I am going for EK12, RE or Adire.

I just put some hifonics amps in my car (taurus x and centurion x) and they seem pretty stable and solid. I haven't had a chance to play with the zues sub i won on ebay (12" for $60 bucks). Adire subs sound clean. The compVR can be found cheap on ebay (not saying they are bad but inexpensive)
