Need to Blow Speaker. How?

I have 2 12" rosqates with 200 watt max. Best buy says they cannot exchange unless they're blown. I've tried bridging my 360x2 rosqate amp to just one and it didn't work. What can I do?

This should be fun.

Do you have any friends with REALLY big amps (1000+ watts)?? If so just hook your subs up to it.. Run it for a while and I am sure they will blow.. HAVE FUN!!

I wanna blow they so I can upgrade to 400 watt max speakers.
Best Buy will not exchange unblown speakers for new ones.

Get some bigger magnets and attach them to the magnets already on them. I did this some some crappy *** speakers and they ripped.

Wiring it up to 110V AC current should do the trick too... But I'm not sure how far you want it to blow.

BTW. DO NOT TRY THIS. IT WAS A JOKE.

hook the speaker up to your car battery. Either that or turn up the gains on the amp all the way, get rid of any crossovers you might have on the subs, turn off your other amps, throw in a CD with a ton of bass and turn it up into distortion and let it run for a while.

How carefully do they check it? If you want to screw it up, you can do it several ways:

Reverse the polarity of the speaker and run it at full gain on the amp with something bass-heavy...

Take the speaker out of the box and do the above process. Speakers depend on the box to maintain some of their movement limitations.

All else fails hook it up directy to a 12V source. Or to the house 110 current, but liek the guy above said, don't do this at YOUR house...or the house of anyone that you know...

No matter how you blow it, it will be an abuse caused failure that is not covered by warranty. If they look at it at all you won't get anything. But they may be dumb. I mean you were foolish enough to think it's covered by warranty. Wby would you expect them to be any smarter?

No, it will work, I bought the best buy 4 year warranty on my subs and did the same exact thing, they just replaced them with the new ones :P

This is similar to insurance fraud. Your saving's pass on to higher prices for the rest of society in the future. We are left paying for your speakers. It could also be prosecuted as theft or destruction of property in court. Be mature, sell them used as they are.
