Anyone put speakers in theri rear door on a 4th GEN?

Please give me your experiences if possible and how hard/easy it was. I appreciate that. Thanks guys.

think of it as very hard if you have no experience with custom fabrication. people have done it, but it requires custom baffles and cutting into your door. if you mess up you have to buy a new door. i dont suggest doing it unless you know what you're doing.

if you can get the mounting pods from the front, and have the ability to cut a circle, you could actually do this quite easily, i know because i did it on a friends car.. it looks somewhat out of place though, and at the time all we did was put a black speaker grill over it. if i was going to do it again i would buy the front speaker grills and cut that hole and go from there.

It works decently as a rear fill location. A good midrange is all that is needed. It's especially beneficial if the rear deck is not an option. But confidence in fabrication is needed, not false confidence. The quality of the install is up to the installer.
