Best car stereo setup for $1500?
If my budget for a car stereo system was $1500, what parts should I put in it? I need 1-2 subwoofers, a nice box, an amp and a head unit.
I am interested to see what you all have to say!

This alone will put you at $1075 if what he quoted me for each individual piece is correct. For a sub and sub amp, it all depends on what you want. I do not know the prices he wants for subs and sub amps but the price for these 4 pieces are AMAZING. I plan on buying them one by one so i have time to accumlilate the money.

Research some prices using ebay. Then go to the manufacterer's websites and read all of the features on each product. Learn the different model line ups. For $1500 you can get a really nice setup. I think you should get a high quality head unit. Try to get an Alpine with Bassengine. It'll have all the eq options you need, or get something similar. Then look for a sub and amp. This is what I did. Also, getting other people's opinions is good too. But, I think you have to get a few products that you like first, through research, then ask about what others think, ie if someone has had a good or bad experience with it. To get help you got to help yourself first.
