ROEM install

ROEM install
I'm trying to install an Alpine CDA-7873 in my 99 maxima with bose. I got the ROEM NIS-2 kit from pac but tried to install it last night and headunit didn't power on of anything. I have installed numerous systems in non-bose cars and I've never had any trouble.
I see on the harness I got with the pac it has 18 wires and my headunit doesn't have that many wires to splice together. I think it has to do with the low level and high level wires for each speaker. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Make sure the +12v ignition and +12v battery wires coming from the ROEM are connected properly to the HU.
Also, check the fuse on the back of the HU (and in the fuse box of the car) to make sure you didn't accidentally blow a fuse too.
Then check the ground wires.
The ROEM kits allow you to wire up the aftermarket HU to the adapter using either line-level or speaker-level inputs. That's why there are an extra set of wires coming from the ROEM kit. Only use one or the other.
Oh, and make sure you turn the car on so the radio will have power, but I assumed that you already knew this one.
