which subs sound best for SQ in $300-500 range?

i need some good SQ subs for my 96 max. just wondering opinions on the different brands. i dont want to spend much over $300-500 per sub. i want 2 12" or 1 12" depending on price. so 2 for 300-500 or 1 for 300-650 a pop. thank you

Try the Adire Brahma series with the low distortion XBL^2 motor. Just don't over-power them. They are distortion free right up to the point of failure. One of Adire's dealers fried a Tumult (15" home sub) with 2,400 watts and never heard any distortion.

Also, Resonant Engineering and Better Audio also use the XBL^2 motors on their subs. All of these are built by Destijl Engineering.

eclipse ti, image dynamics id max, e design a series(edesignaudio.com), resonant engineering xxx(www.respl.com),jl w7,diamond tdx, personally i would go with a pair of eclipse ti 12s, they can be had at www.electronicgiant.net for around $250 each.with all of these subs you'll need about 1,000 watts RMS each or 2,000 RMS for the pair and not some power acoustic, or boss 2,000 watt amps either ur gonna need some good clean power from companies like us amps, orion, jl, kicker, jbl, memphis, crossfire, dei, viper, rf, the jbl bp 1200.1 is the best deal out there if ur on a budget. 13-1400 clean rms for under $300.

i agree check out the brahma's or spend more $ and go for a w7, either way both are probably 2 of the best subs you can buy

Eclipse and Diamond audio are not to be sold online in any way shape or form. Most likely will be either fak, stolen or some sort of refurb, and there is Zero warranty.

Damn, that sucks the 2 speakers I want cant be sold online!!!! The place I went to (in Albany, NY) wanted like $500+ each for the Eclipse and almost $300 for the Diamond. Is this a good price, or can they be found cheaper?

Also, can these speakers be ordered over the phone and shipped or do I actually have to go to a store to pick them up?
