internal door handle trim removal

I'm having trouble removing the internal door handle trim piece. It appear to only involve snapping the back enad out and sliding the body of it backwards. Mine is either stuck or I'm incorrect. This is the only thing left keeping me from removing the door panel for speaker install.

Help!

Thanks!

Get a flathead and when you try to pry it out from the top of the piece, make sure the flathead is back in there far enough so that you don't have to worry about breaking any edges off. That is what happened to mine and now I need to find a replacement somehow.

On second thought this page gives a good procedure for getting that off as well...
