New subs. Kicker S12L5/7 or S15L5/7

Want to get some square Kickers and need some opinions of which type. Box is 2.5 cubic ft. on each side. I have a JL Audio 1/500. Should I get 1 S15L7 or two S12L7. Should be enough space for 2 15's.

If you have ported boxes then with that volume I would go with 12L7s. These amps will give them proper signal and I think kicker recommends 2.3 cub ft of space for the 12s..... I just dont know how you managed to fit two boxes like this into your trunk man..... I would have to see it to believe it. I have one 12L7 in my trunk with a kicekr spec box... and I hardly have any space left

I forgot to mention that I have a sealed box. I built my box myself and it is 40" wide 16" height and 18" depth with a center divider. This box is huge so I really don't think airspace is a problem. I've got 2 JL 12W0's and they hit very very loud. My local shop was amazed at how hard they hit for being W 0's. I want louder and deeper, my eardrums only tickle to certain songs, but my girlfriend's always do. I want to drown her out when she's *****ing about "slow down." j/j

You are getting someting wrong here. This box will be good for one 15L7 and too small for 2x12L7 and too big for one 12L7. Check Kicker specs or you will be dissapointed. And give those subs a fav and put them in a ported box. Kicker 12L7 or 12L5 sound much better in ported boxes. I tried both... and ported is the way to go.
