anyone tryed "Underseal Rubberized Undercoating?
I have been looking for some kinda of cheap alternative to spray on dynamat and i found this thing called Underseal Rubberized Undercoating. I wonder how good it works, if anyone tryed it please tell me how it worked out!!
It's made by 3M and runs about $8 a can.

I used it in my cherokee and it worked fairly well. I also use it after sealing my boxes with caulk to spray the whole inside of the box to damp vibrations.
Be careful- if you get it in your hair it will make your hair fall out!
It works okay- not as wel las dynamat, but it is a LOT cheaper. Tru it on the back of your license plate- you will be amazed at how well it can stop that rattle. You can also spray it under your carpet. It is a good way to save money, but you can never put other damping products over it, and it is hard to remove if you are not happy. If you just want a little damping, it is a good choice. I plan to do my spare tire well and under my rear seat with it.

Yeah- I got the overspray on my head when using it as intended (to really undercoat my cherokee), and everywhere it got on my head the hair seemed to get brittle nd fall out/off.
