Another basslink q

ok so i had a 15 inch solo baric in my 240 and 2 free air 8's firing into the cabin. if i went with a basslink in my max would the bass be deep enough to be noticed over the stock boss rear's? or would i need something more? i dont want to go deaf anymore like i was with the 15 and 8's i just want more, deeper, cleaner bass without blowing out my rear bose speakers again lol

Re: Another basslink q

I haven't tried the Basslink with the Bose system but I got the stock system because I thought it sounded almost as good as the Bose (in a 2003 anyway). Very impressed with the Basslink and I don't have it turned up very loud. It can really shake the interior on the really deep bass notes. THe Bose systems in the cars I test drove didn't do that.

thanx rickso03! yeah i heard the bose vs the non bose in a 97 and the non bose was pretty nice too, just not as bassy, but what my goal pretty much is, is to just let slight low bass and mid bass and some highs into the bose speakers, and keep the bass low on the HU, and keep the sub level up a lil higher to get bass from it while keeping the bose speakers distortion free... anyone think this is a good way to go about it?

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking to enhance the Bass in the stock system this will do it.

I did not want a kidney jarring, eardrum penetrating set up. I am using this sub and have zero complaints.
