bose radio

yeah i need some help....i've heard that the bose radio is a complicated system, so heres my question(s) to all you out there, any help would greatly be appreciated. i got a pioneer radio, 2 rockford 12's and a kenwood amp that i pulled out of my old car and want to hook up in my 96 max....what do i need to get everything working with the bose speakers correctly, are there any special parts or something that i need? thanks alot

the spkrs are internally amped. you'll need to get new spkrs w/the rest of your sound components.

my friend has a 98 SE with 2 10inch audiobahn subs and an amp with a new radio and still has the bose speakers that came with the car....he got his professionally installed so i can't even ask him how it was done

I would just get a line-level converter and hook the subs/amp to the Bose radio. You just have to tap the line-level conveter off of the rear speakers. If you must have the Pioneer radio, you can buy an adapter that will connect to your radio and allow you to use it with the bose system. Check the FAQ thread for a link to the site that sells that adapter.

on the line out converter.. i am gonna do that with an infinity basslink i just heard it at circuit city that fugger sounds really good in that small of a package
