disabling antenna
disabling antenna
How would I go about disabling the antenna from extending? I still want the radio to work so I don't just want to unhook it. The motor is really loud (in my opinion) and I am in the city so I don't really need it. Also, what kind of cd changeres work for the Bose deck witht the cd changer option?

The easiest way would be to disconnect the power lead from the antenna. You should be able to access the power antenna from inside the trunk, and with the antenna lowered, disconnect the power lead. Put some electrical tape over the end of the wire so it doesn't flop around and blow the fuse.
Give Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com) a call and ask them about the CD changer as I believe they carry aftermarket changers that hook up to factory stereos for far less than the dealer will charge.

If you don't care about using the Bose system CD changer controls, you can add any brand that operates through an FM modulator.
