Redmax's lcd's and dvd player....

I gather several people purchased lcd displays from redmax last week....I was wondering if anyone has installed the system into their max's yet, and if so, do you like it? How is the resolution? I am thinking of getting the lcd and dvd system next go around....

Not sure what amount redmax was offering, but
here is a site that seems to have reasonable
prices for different types of lcd screens, mounts,
and in dash/glove box computers.

I have a screen from redmax. The install is easy as hell. It slides right in. A perfect fit. I havent taken any pictures with the screen on yet, but I assure you you will like it. I also put in a Pioneer head unit that plays DVDs so i'm enjoying it. Its best to put the TV on a switch too. You only have to connect two wires off the screen and run them to the switch along with the ground. Its easy!

I ask because I have seen lcds on ebay that say high res...with about 400,000 pixels...what I dont know is how many pixels a typical lcd player that you can get at any audio store for around 800...or how much redmaxs lcds are...id like to see a comparison od specs and prices....

I ordered my screen from Redmax last week but I've seen his screens in other cars. I've been shopping for a while for LCDs and you can get a cheaper screen off Ebay but not in this size. These screens are a perfect fit in our cars (5.6" leaves space and 7.5 is too big). Plus the resolution looks great. To get the same quality as these screens, you'll pay more. Even on the link above, the only 7" screen I saw was $299 + shipping. Get the Redmax screen...you'll be happy.

I have the "redmax" screen. Check out my homepage(page 2). I love it. Everyone that watches it can believe how clear it is.

The screen is really nice for the money, and redmax is cool to deal with, but my only complaint is i have two pixels that have gone out. Im thinking that with a Alpine or someother high end screen you might not have to deal with this issue.
