I need a amp

I have 2 12" solo barics L7's and I need a amp to push them what should I get?

MMatts D300. 2400 WATTS at 2 OHM. I will be getting two for mine. One amp per pair, same subs as you, just four of them.

These amps were converted D300's. Sorry for any confusion. Viper also makes one big a$$ amp. Good for 1400@2OHMS. Heard one of those running 6 Kicker L7 12's. OMG!!!

damn that sounds good got any prices on these. Do you know of anyone who has these? I want to know if they overheat or not. Are they just as good as rockford fosgates.

I have a friend up in Stark, FL, that has one D300 on three Kicker Solo 12's. We went to Daytona a few weeks ago and played the amp all day. LOUDLY! It was slightly warn to the touch. This amp has no fan. That was the crazy part. Another guy I know has the Viper 2400 on 6 Kicker Solo L7 12's. I didn't really hang out with him much but he told me it runs cool even with all of that current running through it. If you really like car audio, try to come to Daytona, Fl next year for the Spring Break Nationals. You can see all of the old product that are still running strong as well as the new powerhouses on the market. I can get the Viper from Mad Marks in Bradenton for $1,400 brand new. The MMatts D300 you should be able to pick up anywhere around $1,200-$1,400. I suggested these because I have seen both of them operate in real world applications. Not because they look good on paper.

Oh ok thanks for the info. I wasnt looking to spend that much but it give me something to think about.

How much did you want to spend? I have heard good things about Zapco. The Z600 is rated at 900 watts at 2 ohm. I have a source from Ebay that will let them go for 399+shipping. Good luck. Let me know what you get.
