The Bose does not have a AUX input. It would be very hard to do.

most aftermarket decks don't have an aux input you have to use a fm modulator. the hard part of the install is relocating the bose or finding a different way of installing the screen rather than in the dash like most people.

Hes been sold out for some time, and to make one is far too expensive. Don, how difficult would it be to relocate it? I just think it will be far too expensive to buy a HU and speakers...or even just a HU is expensive for a good one.

I just think it would be very time consuming not all that difficult. If you are doing it and you have the time/patience then its not all that bad. But if your paying someone to do it, then in my opinion it wqould be better to just get aftermarket.

I would certainly be doing it myself. I couldnt imagine the cost of paying someone to do it. Is there any wires into the Bose system that will give me problems? Im also worried about fitment in the armrest and also, ease of using it, like changing the volume.

Since your doing it yourself it may be a somewhat fun project. As for wires...the antenna wire I see as being the biggest PITA, I do not know of any extensions for the Nissan antenna wire, so you would need to convert it, use a standard extension, then convert it back. I also think that the controls may be a bit frusttrating to use there, but *may* be worth it for your cause.

I was thinking the antenna wire also, but then I was thinking maybe the antenna wire comes from the back of the car and i could rewire it to go directly to the HU in the armrest. Also i have an FM mod with some adapter that can maybe help me extend it somehow...ill keep you updated but I have a while before i can get the screen.
