if so, where can i find a cd changer to install. It was a $600 option back in 1995 so we opted not to get it.

I'd just get an FM modulated CD changer.

No it isn't, but the Bose HU has changer inputs in the back. I bought a aftermarket OEM style changer for about $100 of ebay that was designed to work with my system. Personally, I wouldn't sacrifice sound quality in order to go with an FM modulated changer.

yeah, I would go ebay and get oem or oem style one. Then i could use my stock hu to control it and better sound quality. I haven't done it yet, but thought about it once. I think it is pretty much plug and play with the headunit. Hardest part is probably routing the wires.

USA Spec makes the changer and you can get it on Ebay. You only need to run one cable to the trunk, installation took me about an hour. Most of the time was just getting the HU out of the dash to plug the cable in.
