I have a 3rd Gen and was thinking about using waveguides for my front stage. Anyone have any experience w/ these. I think I'll want to put a good strong midbass in the door as well. What is my best bang for the buck?

 

Probably Image Dynamics horns and their midbass combo with the outboard crossover is the best way to go. You can also price up a combo from USD or Crystal Mobilesound.

Do you have any plans on using an EQ? For the most part anyone that uses horns also uses at least a parametric EQ to set them up properly, and in most cases people use wider band eq's....
