Has anyone put a CD Changer in a 2000 Maxima with the Bose system?

FM Modulator vs. Connection adaptor???

Can you hear a big difference with the digital adaptor? I'm getting the run around from several different stores. Some say there is no such thing as an adaptor for this system.

Any advice???

If you get the OEM changer and have it "hardwired" into the head unit then that sound quality would be great. The FM modulated changer would, "only sound as good as a clear FM station." I don't know about the adaptor you are talking about, but the OEM changer has an installation kit that includes everything you need.

There really isn't a decent aftermarket option for a good SQ setup because there is not available adapter for Nissan/Clarion/Bose systems. Your dealers are not BS'ing you. Your only options are the OEM changer, an FM modulated unit or one of them Conekshun changers, that float around.

For proof the 2 biggest interface manufacturers don't have anything for Nissan/Bose systems. Go take a look.
