video ?'s - cleaning up install of changer and screens

Ok last night I finally installed the DVD changer to go with my sunvisor tv screens. Heres my questions? I'll post pics this weekend as I finish cleaning up the install.

First where can I get distrubution type box..for one power wire in and two coming out. same for ground wire. OR would there be something better to do?

Secondly does anyone know where would be a good spot to tap into the sunvisor wires at?? The screens get power from the existing wireing and signal thru a seperate RCA cable run along the headliner. The screen flickers though when I turn on the car....then when I turn on anything else (lights, blinker, etc) I was going to add a switch for them along with one for the dvd player itself. I have to look to see what fuses we ran the remote and power wire. hhrrrmmm....would I really need a switch for the changer since I do ahve to hit the power button on the remote to get it to work.

thirdly A FM modulater?? what would be the best one to get and from where?? right now I got wireless headphones and a setup to play with them....It doesnt pick up thru the radio.

lastly how about carpet that matches the trunk so I can cover the wood I add????

sorry for so long but THANKS for any help given!!

FYI, FM modulators sound TERRIBLE...i just took one out and returned it to get a new HU. I have the PAC adapter for sale that you would need to connect to an ext. HU with Bose speakers etc.

The best addapters for adding aftermarket equipment to the factory stereo are made and sold by David Navone, http://davidnavone.com/ and Soundgate,
http://www.soundgate.com/team.htm

We might look into getting a better power source for the power that feeds the LCD. And we'll check to see if the LCD would get the best signal from a shielded wire or a twisted pair style wire. The old fashioned visors had a hollow plastic rod that was used to bend the visor aorund. Wires could be put inside. But you may have too many wires for that. But there are a couple of things we could do to tidy up the wires.

Guess I'll see you in a couple days,

James
