Peripheral NISSANAF95 BOSE Adapter- How to wire it up!?!?

I just purchased a Peripheral NISSANAF95 BOSE Adapter to add an amp to the front of my 96 GLE. The guy I bought it from has lost the instructions. Here is the situation:

I have a few questions about some of the wires on the unit. What do some of the "flyaway" leads do? There are red, yellow, black, orange, and blue wires that are dangling. I know what wires of those colors normally do, but why are they on this adapter? Are they supposed to be run to an amp or something? Does the adapter need 12V power? Also, the "box" end of the harness- where the RCAs will plug in- has a black wire hanging out. Is that a ground or something?

I was talking to the old owner and we think that thiose MIGHT be courtesy wires for people who do not want to run 12V+ wires, and though they are horribly undersized, that could be the case. Has anyone used this unit, or installed it, or does anyone have the directions that are supposed to come wiht it?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The black wire that's by the RCA's sounds like a remote turn on wire. It sends a +12v signal to the amp to tell it when to turn on, and often runs with the RCA cables to the amp.
