The only RCA cables you should buy are Monster Cables. It is not just a name. They have all the patents locked up, and the other companies cannot build them as good. Look into the XLN401 series from Monster, they are the best for a reasonable price. If you want to save a little, the XLNMICRO series is very nice.

Are you serious! Monster makes the most overpriced and poorest sounding interconnect on the market. I have done many A/B tests between interconnects and the Monster stuff sounds like complete garbage next to companies like Kimber and Nordost. Save your money and get some good Stinger interconnect. Sounds better and is cheaper than Monster.

I agree, Monster is the biggest marketing ploy/rip-off in years. Not just their RCAs, but everything. Way overpriced.

Just to let you Kimber cable people know, I was at an independent test where a $80 Monster Cable performed better on the meter than a $800 set of Kimber...Now you tell me who's overf*#@ing priced?

You can actually get the same results by twisting your own zip wire from Radio Shack. Bottom line is this, sure there are bad products in every line, but almost everything Monster sells is a rip off. I agree the Kimber silver stuff is not that good and sounds overly bright in certain setups, but their lower end lines are great. They are expensive but they do what they are meant to.

I actually thought my home stereo setup was broken after installing some Monster Cable that the guy swore was the "best stuff he sold" I swapped it out for some Kimber, Audioquest, and Nordost interconnect and voila my soundstage was back. A $2.00 set of unshielded Radio Shack RCAs sounded better.

Go with the Stinger, it's better quality.
