basic amp hookup for 2000 with bose

I'm hoping you guys can help me out here on a basic amp installation.
I need to hook up the amp turn on wire, and two speaker level inputs or RCA inputs to a amp located in the trunk. Question is.. can I take the input to the bose sub and pipe it into my amp and what wire/color is the remote amp turn on wire going to the factory amp? I plan to use that as the new amp turn on wire. Does this jive? Or should I run new wire all the way from the radio to the amp?

Thanks all.
