Where should i put my power cable through the engine compartment to the inside of the car. I cant find any place that it will fit through. Where did you put your power wire through? Im thinking about putting it where the steering column goes through. Thats the only place i can find!

 

i'd just drilled a hole thru my firewall. i figure it uses less wiring that way, which should help keep voltage drop lower

but before you do, make your you don't drill through a cable or whatever important!

I just ran power cable for my amp that I installed and ran it through a grommet that the hood release cable goes through. There is a writeup you can search for about an infinity basslink install that i think a member named tony fernandez posted. It has detailed pics and instructions. The only thing it left out was how to remove the wheel well liner. It is easy to remove, just 3 screws (2 that hold on mud flap and one where liner and body meet (just look can't miss it). There are also two screws that pop in like a door panel holder that you just pop out. It took me about 15 minutes to run the cable from the battery to the trunk.
