Moving system into maxima.

This past weekend I un-installed my entire system (except the speakers) consisting of 2 12" Infinity Kappas, Power Acoustik amp, Pioneer DEH-6400 deck and wires out of my old car, a station wagon. Now I know the current sealed box I have is not the best setup for a closed trunk like in the maxima. Any suggestions on which sub box type to use in my maxima? Or any links to info?

Thanks in advance.

well, as many people suggested me before, I'll just spread their word: sealed. yup, that's what I'm gonna go with. Good sub, good box (the right one for the sub), and a good amp should do it for your system.

Really? I've never heard that before...

Before I came to the forums here, everyone I asked told me either bandpass or vented. I only asked here to double-check what they told me.

Thanks for the info. Any other maxima-specific system tips?

well, depends, if you mostly listen to rap, don't care about quality, and just want it to be loud, go with ported. sealed boxes give you the best low bass response plus very very nice quality. The bad part, it's not as efficient (loud) as others. i have a 12L5 kicker and two cvrs powered by same amp (well, at different times ). L5 was in a sealed box, cvrs in ported. they were getting same power from the amp and cvrs sounded louder, but crappier. so it's your choice, go with what you like more. listen your friends' setups and decide what you like more

OK, I'll just stick with my sealed box if it fits in the max's trunk.

Thanks for the info.
