She wouldnt lemme do anymore....

I mean I dampened the h3ll outta the doors, threw in the D6 comps and coaxs for fill, then the amps and the 2 8s. It takes up Minimal trunk space, and things can still go through the trunk with the seat down.

Eventually Ill convince her to lemme go bigger.

BTW..No, cosmetically its not done LoL

these setups look great, but what are you guys doing about the spare tire? in a lot of these installations the spare seems damn near impossible to get to.

I don't know about everyone else, but I took my spare out. I've got an amp and EQ mounted in its place. My logic behind this is the fact that in my 17 years of having a driver's license, I've never had to use a spare tire. Tires have been made more and more durable over the years, so I just weighed the likelyhood of having a flat vs. the enjoyment I get out of having that thrid amp and EQ out of the way so I don't lose trunk space. I've got a cell phone and towing insurance...I hope that's all I'll need in the case I do have a flat somewhere.

I installed mine as close to the seats as possible, and it turned out that I located it in a way that just barely lets me remove the cardboard cover over the spare. I'm not sure you could make this work with anything more than (2) 10s...although I'm sure its been done.

each time i've gotten a flat i've been fortunate enough to already be at the house. But i know as soon as i take the spare out i'm gonna get stuck somewhere i can't get any cell phone reception. i only have two 10's so i think i'm gonna try to build a box that only partially covers the spare tire. that way i may still be able to pull it out.

Here is what was in my trunk. It is now on eBay! Item number: 7961281902

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7961281902

I am my late thirties and I really got to say this is one of the best things I ever bought. The sound was amazing from such a small box. I never new that one 10 with a Mono JL amp could make such great sound,

makes me sick when i try to listen to music past volume 34/62 with the windows up. it honestly sounds like its going to snap when the windows are up and its 60 degrees and below outside. when its hot outside with the windows up i can bear it, but mind you i have tons of foam under the deck already.
