Actually Viper is a DEI line (discontinued). PPI is owned by DEI but they dont share tech/designs.

Props to you!!! The only thing I'd carefully consider on this one is that you might want to mount those amps elsewhere. If you ever get rear ended badly, you'll be saying goodbye to your amps. Just a precautionary thing. For practicality and daily use, since your car is probably a daily beater, its best to relocate those amps away from harms way. Also, they will be susceptible to rain and moisture if you ever have to access your trunk and its pouring rain out. Personally, I'd mount them behind the back seat before the box. Then move the box back a tad to give the heatsink some room to breath.

again great choices for all your equipment, who told you what to get? or is your knowledge that good on car audio lol? those are great stuff for a first time setup.

Well I started off telling myself that I absolutely refuse to get anything that best buy/circuit city sells, lol.

Did lots of reading, reviews on various forums, and personal opinions. I did not just ask for random opinions, I had to specify for opinions. For example, subs : I asked for opinions based on their preference, like SQ or SPL, and how they percieved those categories with their equipment. I dunno its hard to explain lol

But I can give a bit of advance for people that are just getting into car audio, you just have to read, READ, and READ! its worth it

Funny thing is, everyone in this town thinks I have a ****ty system, simply cuz they havent heard of any of these brands my equipment is made by. They all think their Best buy and Circuit city **** is to worship. Can you say brainwashed? with a lil bias? lol

your knowledge of car audio is hella more than mine when i was at your age, so mad props for that.

and i know how it's like when people give you wierd faces when you tell them the brand of your subs etc. they think it's crap until i let them hear my sub pound their brains out.

igor the system looks hot man, but you must pull some serious current with those lights. i just installed a pair of polk audio db 6 3/4 components in the door and they are incredible. they replaced my infinity kappa which didnt sound bad either these just take a little more power than those. they highlight the bass notes like champs.

Those logos and rings are not lit up because I did not hook up the remote wire yet, since the box is going in tomorrow.
