For anyone still thinking it's a photoshop, I saw and heard this car in person. Definately the real deal there and sounds great. Whatever you think it looks like, it's for real....

Yes, it can get quit loud of you want but its very dynamic, still images good and most of all its a blast to listen too.

For anyone still thinking it's a photoshop, I saw and heard this car in person. Definately the real deal there and sounds great. Whatever you think it looks like, it's for real....
Thanks again and your car is no slouch either. I am still pretty baffled that people would think its photoshopped even with over 60 pictures and a complete step-by-step writeup on how the doors were built. I bet these same people are the ones that have never tried to do anything "custom" to there system because they are "scared"

I see what you mean. The bottom of the plate where the speakers are mounted on. I kinda detect some smudging or blurring touch-ups which could be done in photoshop. Maybe that was an attempt to do some type of blending on the photo.
Actually if you take the time to look closer its the bruch alum. reflecting off the nice clean shiny vinyl that is making that look strange. The photo has never been photoshopped by anyone and was taken with a not so great cam.

I think it's a photoshop b/c there is a bolt on the ground in that picture, and it is blurry.
What in the world does either of those have to do with it not being real. The picture was taken in my driveway, a driveway that we use to work on cars, cars have bolts on them, we sometimes have left over bolts (not sure that is a good thing, J/K), sometimes those bolts end up in the driveway. Its really not an unusual thing around here. Hell if you really want to be picky the other brown spots on the driveway are fiberglass resin......and I wonder how in the world that would get there.......ever from making full custom door panels, rear deck and trunk on this car.....not, their fake.

Real or not, it just seems fake because of the way the map pocket was so neatly cut off, in the photo, and the way the shadowing is, and also because how the image is blurred more in some parts than others. Anyhow, if it is real, you did an excellent job. I am not jealous, I am just a skeptical person, especially when it comes to reading things online.
Hmm,OK. So what you are saying it that if it was done more messy,AKA, pocket cut all crappy, then it would be more believable. Its not really that hard to get a nice clean cut. Yes the pocket stands out because it is actually a brown pocket painted black. I have a factory block pocket the will be going in there instead so it will match better.

OK, now before anymore people start flaming my doors, I again ask that you take a look at my website and look at the COMPLETE writeup on how I built these things. I would have no posable gain for photoshopping the pics. I would not even know where to begin to do such a thing. I have nothing to hide here, I am trying to fool no one. I think the doors, and the rest of the install for that matter, looks good but are far from perfect.

In closing I would like to say this. I have been doing audio for the past 18 years but I am far from the best. I have been competing along with my GF (Team Zapco member herself) for the past 3 years. But I am not one of those people that try and hide anything about my car. In fact I really try to help people as much as I can. My website shows how to do everything that is done in my car. I try to help people learn how to do things that most people try to keep a big secret. Custom work, like my doors, I dont think is overly hard if someone shows how it is done. It does take time but its well worth it. I have even given out my personal phone number to people on this board how had queations about how I did something in hopes that they coud do it too. I want to past the things I have learned onto anyone willing to learn. I also would like to personally invite anyone that wants to come take a listen to the car. We can even plan to have other SQ cars be here, people like Tony Pasquale (3 time IASCA SQ World Champ), Justin Polk (2006 SBN Top 30 SQ Champ) and other if I can round them up. There are good friends of mine as they too are always willing to help others. All I am saying is I really am one of those poeple that love to help others. I have absolutely no reason to rep. myself or my car other then the way it is.....far from perfect.

Sorry for the longish post but really.....after all the hours I have put into making my car what it is today I might taking this alittle personal.

Rick, take it easy buddy, I was on your side. See my post on the previous page. I sometimes forget that sarcasm doesn't shine through in the virtual world. I was using the flawed reasoning some of the others here were using.

BMS web filter thinks the page the pics are coming from is a **** site, hence the reason none of his pics are loading.

the box behind that wall is 2.0 net, (around 2.2 gross volume). it's sealed (it just looks ported because of that large horizontal vent that we cut into the baffle in attempt to get more bass into the cabin)

the 6th gen doesn't have those tension bars under the rear deck like other gens. our trunk are on pneumatic lifts that are attached on either side of the lid. you can see one of them in the first pic.

New setup

Well after having all of my original stereo stolen (check it out here) I have a replacement in place.

5435 is mounted and is currently using a hacked up version of a dash kit from before. The GXE kit is on the way.

Amps are 750.2 and 360.4

with a little color this time

TINY bandpass box for the 12w6's

Congradulations? It kinda sucks that your stereo got stolen and all, but hey, it gave you the excuse to start all over.

Uh your power wire and ground wire touching the other amp? I would NOT want to see what happens if they melt and burn the insulation..... I would move that ASAP.
