lol! My friend who is on SMD told me that Steve is going to have a norcal db drag or something like that sometime in the cooler months. And my friend has made a couple builds and like they want all of the cars he worked on to show too.

 

Wow..I want to do some thing like you build but I just order a 4.8cu box @ 35hz from rich on ROE so idk what I can do now maybe I can add that box think in my rear deck or just add a large hole to it....

I just sent it out to get painted...

 

I did this in wood shop this last and final semester of high school and i am very pleased with the results. I only spent about $80 bucks for the amp & subs. The Pioneer deck cost me a bit more but i installed that myself too and am really pleased with that too .

Ummm. large holes instead of terminal cups ftl? Ports? Congrats on your first setup tho. You will need larger power wire probably also but I don't know what power that amp puts out even tho it says 800.

yeah those "holes" are my ghetto porting job and they sound decent but like i said i barely spent any money on the whole thing

 

as long as they sound good to you i guess.

you do realize to properly port a box, the box size, driver(s) size, displacement, port area and more allllll come into play?

My friend has thursday and friday off so he will be smashing on the box and amp rack.

The thing is that the box was made into a bandpass incidentally, as in unintentionally.

Its cause of how I wanted the sytem to be built. I was describing how I wanted it to fit and like we didn't plan what kind of box it would be and it came out that way.
