Nope, you know the "retail" price range for subs and amps for my SQ system. But anyone who knows audio knows that subs and amps are merely pawns in the game. Like water in a recipe.

Thanks

Origionally had the HU there and needed a way to use the remote. After cutting it I figured I would give a shot at getting the HU back in the dash with the TV and it worked. Now I'm stuck with the cut glovebox. I like the look. There is a pice of lexen there so I can actuall lock the glove box and keep people out. (well somewhat lol)

I wouldn't say that. You are acting like a kid... "O, I got that and that and this to." The proof is in the pudding. The whole purpose of this thread is to "show whats inside your trunk" So please save this thread for those who want to share there system set-ups. Thanx.

Sorry, I am only responding to your foolishness. I never mentioned anything that is in my car, my wisdom. If you don't want off topic comments, why are you wasting everyone's time with your own? This thread will remain worthles so long as we can't post pics direct from our own PC like in the old days. Now we have to go to another server to upload our pics. If you want to see pics of trunks go to that server. You see it's my weekend and I have all dang day to respond to your comments. I can go down to the garage for a few hours to work on some wood work or glassing and when I walk back to the computer it will still be online.

Ooooh, now you are calling me names. Maybe I should go lock the doors. I'm so scared. You are wasting more space on this forum than I. I am simply responding to your statements. I will quit responding if you quit posting. Were you at the meet last night? Why didn't you ask to see what's in my trunk if you are so interested?

Igor and Jmax, both just stop, you're arguing over stupid things that do not matter, just let it be. Back to the pictures...

i have a diamond audio tdx, so i dont know if it will work, but your sub does look beefy, so anythings possible.
do you know how much it was? i know a local place that sells pioneer, but the guy is a douche, i would like to fit it on my sub first, but the dude wont let me, i know this, if its cheap, i'll just buy it, take a hit on it if it doesn't work.

Don't worry, I do plan to take some picks for all of you over the next few months and possibly the next year. But my old sony digi camcorder has poor res and I gotta get a part time job to afford the rest of the tools, and equipment for my install. Everyday that I don't install unfortunatley I think of a possible change for the set-up and then that of course needs a lot of tweaking. But the basics will be a 5.1 DVDA setup, dual 15 inch Tumults, likely the new Eclipse DVDA HU, 5 amps for 3300 - 4800 watts RMS. 2200 RMS for the subs from JBL BPx2200.1, ARC1500 DR for midbass, DA D7104 for front tweets and rears, D7152 for front mids, D7054 for center, Accuton C2 - 23 for tweets, mids an midbass are still being fabricated and that's what I am contemplating changing the set-up. There are at least 20 - 30 items that I didn't mention such as wireing and fusing items.

But if someone buys me a new digi - cam I will load pages as the install progresses and throughout the competition season.

No front shot of the subs is possible now because we mounted them inverted (cone facing inside the box). I did it that way because the magnet structure of the sub is so massive that it was more impressive than the cone IMO. The cone is cool too. It looks like a colored aluminum cone with a big aluminum dust cover.

Those are 10's by the way. I was going for SQ rather than SPL. It hits pretty good, but I was after SQ mainly and I got that. Those subs can hold a ton of power. They are the Diamond Audio TDX series.

Here's another shot from further back. Excuse the glare, but the sun was really bright that day:

Here's another shot:

The dash turned out pretty cool too, but that's not the topic here so I won't post those pics.

What do you guys think of the setup?
