Its like foam/glue. Once you use it you pretty much have to get a new tire. It "should" get you were you need to go but it sucks to change the tire after as well. You have to all but chisel it off the inside of the rim as well. Nasty ****...then again if your tire is flat, your going to get another one anyway so whatever.

If you can keep it, then keep it. Unless your some1 who's trunk is somewhat like mine and access to the spare isnt going to be possible. Then its fine to remove it. Just be sure you got AAA gold for free towing

Who made that enclosure? That looks nice and you still have a usable trunk. I think I might have to dump my sub box and do that.

yep its a 15",, box will be 3.75ft^3 @ 35hz.

I was originally going to build it 4cuft, but David from RE gave me the box plans for that sub. So i figured ill just build what it says...

and to be honest... I have absolutely no clue what the big 3 is... would you explain?

i plan on getting a yellow top battery for the time being.. then later on upgrading my alt. and possibly another battery on down the line.

EDIT* do you happen to know when the donations page is going to be back up?

You better run an SSF set at around 38-40hz man, that things gonna be loud as hell but dont go around playing songs like light night tip or anything that dips too low. That limits of that sub are pretty damn close to the Brahma and mine goes into xsus at around 21hz with a 3.5ft^3 box tuned to 28hz fed by 1.2Kw. I run an ssf set at 30hz.

I havnt modeled it up yet, but your going to be near your xmax at about 30hz. Dont quote me on that, but I doubt im far off. Its gonna be loud as hell man, thats for damn sure.

Your on SIN right? you havnt heard that term be4
Upgrade the wires under to hood, or should I say add them.

Add atleast a 4awg wire from your alternator to the battery.
Chassis to battery ground
Chassis to engine ground

Those should be enough to help power flow a bit.

Thats what I did, I have a yellow top...well I have two of them. I have yet to get a 200amp alternator but my voltage holds pretty high. 13.9-14.1 while the car is running & 13.2 with the car off. So im not worried about the alternator just yet. I dont have a cap either.

Since I just finished my upgrade today I figured I would post.

Replaced my single Kicker Comp VR sub (Actually I blew it so I needed a new sub anyway) with 2 new Elemental Design 12Kxs and build a new box from scratch that would fit perfectly. I am happy with the way it all turned out, but I am glad this project is over.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the compliments. This project kicked my a$$. Most of my selft installs have been fairly basic. This is the first box I have built/amp rack I have built myself. Tou have it actually come out the way I wanted it to feels good. I don't plan on moving the box around at all. I honestly needed some trunk space back. The box gives me back some of what I was missing. These subs sound awesome and they are only in 1 cubic foot each.

BA RC 620 system up front
Infinity 6502i in rear door
JL Audio 12W3v2 sub
Soundstream E5700 amp

Just need to tidy up a few things and it will look better.

It's a little bit more involved than digital video, but you'll will need a device/hardware that converts the analog signal to digital. You can get a device like this that plugs into your USB port or an actual PCI card that installs onto the motherboard.

Not finished yet, but you get the idea

The window is too big and "off" so I need to re-cut a new piece. But here's the idea. Gonna be sick when it's finished

Man that's a big amp, what are you going to do cooling wise for the amp? Looks like it can get pretty warm tucked in the wheel well. Looks good!

There's like a 2 inch gap on either side of the floor so the amps can breathe. But nonetheless I have to think up a fan idear
