Are you building a rack for those. That layout looks great. Which subs are you getting next? Diamonds? J/C.

Chris

The amps are actually already mounted and are prolly staying that way for awhile. Of course a floor panel to flush them, but otherwise thats how theyll sit.

Im replacing the DA TDXs with Arc Flatlines whenever they become available...Or Rainbow ProVanadiums if I cant wait any longer.

ok, here's mine, bear with this newbbie

Not that big, but it kicks allright. I can't stand it for more than 3 minutes at full warp, listening to the woofer tests... I feel sick and my ears start to shut close . SQ at normal levels is exellent, but I don't like the Rockford 3 way Punch in the back as much as I like the front Pioneer's TSD160R.
Can't imagine how the guys here with the 15' Brahmas, etc can endure the torture. Mine is barely audible from outside, I think

- 3 12 JL Audio W-0
- 1001d Xtant Amp
Next step is to build a custom setup like most of y'all have. I've had these subs since '99 when I was in high school and took them out about a year later. My brother used them for a while then they just sat in my basement for another year or so. So even though these are old as poo, they still sound pretty damn good for the type of music I listen to. (classic rock mostly, country and a little rap)

Pedroboe, I like the idea of mounting the amp. I'm a bit biased though because I used to have mine setup like that. It may be a good way to secure the amp but it can be very bad for depending on the power output. The amps' heat sincs are designed to be upright. Being up-side-down greatly reduces the thermal efficiency of the fins and thus can cause overheating. That said, it doesn't look like an extremely powerful amp so you don't have much to worry about. BTW, just informing you, not picking on or anything. I did the exact same thing just a year ago. I had no idea it was bad until a local radio shop made fun of me.
