Those with changers located in trunk. How and where did you position your changer? Upright? Laying down? Under the rear deck? TIA

When I had a changer in my Max I had it for a little whil under he rear deck. Eventually I moved it to vertical on the floor secured against my sub box. This helped stop any skipping.

I have the OEM changer, so it's vertical on the left side of the trunk.

Canuck,

I have been milling around placement for a CD changer(Eclipse 5083). I am undecided if I want to put it under the passenger seat or vertically in the trunk.

I've found that mounting changers inside the car is probably the best location for anti-vibration and skip resistance. Plus there is the easy access advantage as well.

How about under the front seat? works great- easy access so you don't have to lean into yor trunk in the rain (plus it saves room for subs)
mine has never skipped, even when I jumped a set of railroad tracks.. don't ask. heh

The CD Changer goes under the passenger seat.
